HOA Management
All HOA’s have the same common flaw. Their government (Bylaws, Declaration) was designed so the board majority (mostly 3 votes – originally developer appointees) to keep residents at bay during construction. Our Code of Conduct was created to silence any resident elected board member. Is there a better method? There may be, and a complete transformation of this community’s structure would be well worth a discussion.

The Gate Clicker Caper issue brings up an issue that must be addressed in order to move this community forward in a positive direction. That thread highlights a major flaw in the HOA model we operate under. Mainly, There is no historical, searchable data to rely on. Boards change yearly, managing company’s can change at any time, managers can leave at any time, and residents on committees can leave at any time. Leaving behind a bunch of legal resolutions that no one understands. We keep bringing up the same issues, with the same arguments, with the same results of solutions that do not work. The only thing that changes are the faces that ask the questions. In fact, we continue to make the same mistakes over and over. This community could be much better off with good leadership that puts in place a model that will continually improve management and not keep creating procedures that create repeating issues and clearly do not work. It is difficult to separate the Stonebridge Community that brings shows, events and activities. Clearly the best events are created by the various clubs or the residents themselves not the board or the management company he Stonebridge Community Management itself. The management, the board and the management company, that are always in the center of all the controversy that exists in the community. Remove the controversy and there is a different model. We need change in the latter to reduce controversy. Maybe 2 new board members next week will align themselves with one other current board member and begin the road to improve the management model of Stonebridge. regurthat gathers the best ideas from the personal experience of the many residents.
